The Strength of the Journey

Text: 1 Kings19:7-8 (KJV)

And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.”

Friends, life is usually compared as a journey that means we need strength for the adventure. Yes there is rough, crooked and difficult roads in life. For instance, Elijah, God’s prophet, reached a point where he was weary, discouraged, and ready to give up.  Col. 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness Therefore, we need inner and divine empowerment to sustain life because there is a distance to cover in life but we need to eat fat and drink for the journey ahead. Hence, it is God that provides the strength we need to overcome the challenges and uncertain seasons of life. Remember, it is in Him that we receive grace, joy, power and supplies to move forward to overcome the burnout moment. It is important we learn to build hope and confidence in the capacity of our God for safe landing. Remember, our human effort cannot carry us rather we need divine enablement which takes us farer into His will. Isaiah 40:29-31 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength… But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Interestingly, God show up to men of old like Joshua, he said be strong and of a good courage. To David, he encouraged himself in the Lord. He is also available to us today. Friends, the journey of life in every perspective is demanding, so we need daily reliance on God either, physical, emotional, or spiritual. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. We need to build resilience and perseverance as to endure the seasons of tribulations. The path of the journey may be long, but we need to receive daily strength by His Spirit which comes as we dwell in His presence in the place of prayer, building up our faith, as well as in study and meditation of His word daily. Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. I pray His joy shall be our strength in our inner man today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Oh God send an angel with food and water that will supply strength continually as I journey through life storms in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, we need the support of the Holy Ghost to arrive at our destinations without fainting.

Walking in the new beginning

Congratulations to October.

Text: Isaiah 43:18-19 (KJV)

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Friends, we have a choice before us to either go with the new and leave the old behind or carry the old pattern. The new is a total transformation and not partial. So, we are not just starting afresh but we are going deeper by walking with Him a new. Yes, there is a new chapter of your life and destiny that is opening now, a new event, new idea, new anointing that moves us into a new walk in our spiritual adventure. It is important that we embrace the new opportunity set before because as new grace has been released, too. So, you are created for the new as we embrace Jesus as our Lord afresh for an intimate relationship. 2Cori.5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Hence, recognizing the new season, new relationship, new year, new month is actually a lifestyle of moving forward. We need to be sensitive so we are not trapped by the past. But, we need to release the past hurts, failures, sin nature as we now step into God’s promises for a new beginning. I pray that God will help me to live differently, think differently, and act differently. So, let’s take away fear and uncertainty as we walk with the new even where there seems to be no way. Lam 2:22-23 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Amazingly, every new beginning comes with fresh mercy and grace that is why we must tap into it now. By so doing, we build new trust that develops us into confidence in God. This helps us to step up our faith into God for His direction endlessly. Ezek.36:26 … will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. We have to be open to His instruction because of the new. For instance, we can see Abraham leaving his father’s house by the instruction of God in Genesis 12: 1-4. Therefore, the change that we are all waiting for comes as we yield to the new by a conscious decision to accept and walk with Jesus today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Oh Lord, thank you for the new opportunity, teach me to walk in the renewed purpose as I align with God’s agenda in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, that you can actively live in the fresh seas

The Beauty of Thanksgiving

Congratulations and welcome to the month of October.

Text: Psalm 100:4-5 (KJV)

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

Friends, welcome to the month of October. It is a privilege to walk into this new season of nurturing and flourishing as we remain planted in His presence. Yes, He has brought us thus far by His mercy, therefore, we must spend time to sincerely acknowledge his love towards us.  Beloved, thanksgiving is a key that unlocks our hidden potentials and expectations, if we constantly pour our hearts in songs. Psalm 92:1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High. There is beauty in thanksgiving as it is an act which is loaded with benefits both inward and outward.  It is not a seasonal adventure rather a daily routine that downloads the future blessings for our inheritance. By so doing, we beautify our relationship with God because gratitude magnifies his goodness and strengthen our faith in Him. Hence, thanksgiving brings inner peace as a thankful heart is a joyful heart and not a bitter disposition. Therefore, we must radiates outward joy as it makes one attractive where murmuring is the reverse. Today, as we give thanks, we shift our focus from the problems to the greatness of God which reflects on our countenance. So, let’s express gratitude to God as a lifestyle and not an event as we speak or sing it out daily. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Interestingly, we must cultivate an attitude of thanksgiving in praises, prayers, giving, obedience to His words, testimony, etc which attracts open doors of blessings as it positions us for increase.  Remember, thanksgiving turns our situation into a testimony by the fruits of evidence. So, let’s live daily with this beauty and glory of thanksgiving. Psalm 67:5-7 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. Thanksgiving also attracts multiplication of blessings. We can see how Jesus gave thanks over five loaves and two fishes, and it multiplied into excess that fed five thousand men in John 6: 11. I pray our thanksgiving will glorify God and attract the blessing for our beauty in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, thank You for Your countless blessings in my life, so teach me to see the beauty in every situation and respond with a heart of gratitude all through this season in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, thanksgiving should never depart from our lips as to reflect His glory in all season.

God’s Appointed Time of Lifting

Uploading: 1260875 of 11996643 bytes uploaded.

Text: Genesis 41:39-41 (KJV)

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Friends, there are specific seasons set by God for our promotion, which means there is God’s calendar for all. Yes, it is always a divine agenda set by God for our elevation and advancement in destiny. Hence, the moment with God ends the struggles and moves us from one level to another higher level in life. It is a breakthrough into fulfilling our destiny as it is in God’s plan. Therefore, such a season comes not by human effort but it is from God alone. Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.  It is an established season that cannot be delayed nor denied because God is absolutely involved. However, this comes by favour as we align to the supernatural that brings to pass His will that makes impossibility to become possible. So, let’s remember that God has an appointed time for everyone’s promotion. So. Let’s be sensitive and not to be careless about our set date. Remember, true lifting comes from God. Psalm 75:6–7 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Hence, our waiting season cannot be a wasted season. Thus, your lifting is undeniable, unstoppable, and purposeful.

Interestingly, the time of our lifting may tarry, but it will certainly come to pass. It is a sudden change that can happen overnight just like it did for Joseph who slept in the prison but woke up in the palace. Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie. It goes beyond human calculation as it is stirred up by favour to the heart of men to recognize you. The waiting time and forgotten by men notwithstanding, God is still faithful as to bring His agenda to a fruitful reality. Remember, no opposition can stop God’s set time for our lifting even today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, in our waiting time when God prepares us to maturity, may we always remember there is God’s set time for our promotion in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember lifting is not a luck or manipulation but God’s appointed time for the next phase.

It is not in me

Text: Genesis 41:16 (KJV)

And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Friends, we must learn to make this statement of submission to God as a sign of humility to His will.  Yes, we are vessels but God is the source of all. So, from the scripture above Joseph was telling Pharaoh that it is not in his ability to interpret dreams but in God. Hence, he has no personal power or wisdom rather all His sufficiency is from God almighty. 2 Cori.3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. And so, secrets are revealed by God not by man’s ideology because they are mysteries to us. Remember, it is a divine gift as the ability and strength of our talent is from God. And today, we must learn to acknowledge God as the true source of our wisdom in that skill. Therefore, our talents, gifts, abilities should point people back to God as our dependence is from Him. And we have to learn to make our boast in God as a way to recognize him daily. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Amazingly, we can see that Joseph used this significant moment to witness God to Pharaoh. Though, he was forgotten in the prison but now with the privilege to stand before King Pharaoh, he made maximum use of the opportunity. He does not want to take the glory at all. Hence, this teaches us that the wisdom, solution, breakthrough are all from God and not ourselves. Daniel 2:27-28 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets… Also, we can see that Daniel recognized that there is GOD who reveals secrets. too. Indeed, it is not by our power nor by our might but His grace will continue to make it great as we declare that ‘it is not in us’ in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, in my work, ministry, or studies, teach me to acknowledge God as the source of my success for my sufficiency is in Him in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember to recognize that there is a mystery behind the action which is supernatural, so give God the credit.

Face to Face with God

Text: Exodus 33:11 (KJV)

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend

Friends, we long for a more moment of intimacy where we are face to face with God. Hence, we are not in a moment of distant relationship with God but a deeper knowledge with Him for His glory to rub on us. So, it is not merely a physical interface with God rather an intimacy, a fellowship and a friendship that is inseparable as it is not seasonal. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Therefore, it is a time of openness with our creator where we are made and nurtured from inside out. Hence, Moses experienced this as he got to a point of closeness with God as a friend that means God revealed himself personally to Moses. Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Yes, we should not allow anything to stand on the way including sin, doubt, distractions, worries etc. as these barriers can hinder our face to face encounter where we enjoy peace and empowerment.

Amazingly, there is level of fellowship where nothing stands in between you and God. It is an unbroken level of fellowship and divine presence where we dwell under the secret place of the most high for clarity of instructions. Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.  Thus, the encounter at this moment is transformative with tangible evidence that cannot be denied. Hence, just as a friend speaks heart to heart, so God speaks to us as his dear children face to face. I pray we shall get to this point of intimacy at the hour of prayer, worship and in the study of His word daily in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Heavenly father help me to cultivate this kind of relationship where I can be open and pour my heart to God in His presence at all times in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, His glory reflects in us as we fellowship in truth and in love daily.

Coat Of Many Colours

Text: Genesis 37:3 (KJV)

Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours

Friends, the coat of many colours is a special garment which was given by Jacob to Joseph as a mark of nobility as it is a very rare and costly gift. It is a symbol of favour and deep affection to him. It is a sign of special love among his brethren with multicoloured garment that set him apart for distinction. This is a garment of royalty that placed him special in the father’s eyes. Psalm 5:12 For You, Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield.  And today, God is giving us a coat of many colours that is a gift which is loaded with diversities of inheritance both here on earth and eternity in view. Hence, we are wearing garment of many colours that represents God’s calling into spiritual gifts of grace, favour, love, honour, glory etc as they prepare us into elevation for our future with royal garment of sonship and rulership. Today, as God’s special children, we also wear spiritual coat with diverse blessings as our true identity which is covered with Jesus as we hid in Him. Isaiah 61:10 - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness…

Unfortunately, such a special garment stirred up envy among the brethren. It brought about hatred and jealousy which led to betrayal as he was sold for slavery. This is a proof that God’s blessing on someone’s life can even stir up envy and opposition at the long run. Genesis 37:31–32 And they took Joseph’s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood; And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father... But, we have the grace to endure oppositions and remain faithful to the end. But remember your blessings from God must not be celebrated by everyone. Hence, it cannot be stripped away because what God has ordained cannot be destroyed in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, thank you for clothing us with your love. Help us to walk in your purpose as designed by God as we value this special coat of God’s inheritance in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, not everyone will rejoice with your rising but don’t let them stop your destiny.

FROM PIT TO PURPOSE

Text: JEREMIAH 29:11 (KJV)

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Friends, life's journey is often marked by unexpected twists and turns, leading us into dark pits of uncertainty. Yet, in those moments, God's purpose for us remains steadfast. Joseph's story in Genesis is a powerful testament to this truth. Yes, sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph found himself in a pit.

However, God was with him, guiding him through adversity and ultimately elevating him to a position of power in Egypt. It is important that we learn the purpose beyond the pit. Our current struggles are not the final chapter. We can see that Joseph faced ssituations that was hopeless, but God was with him. Yes, he moved from betrayal to pit and tthrough the prison journey and finally to leadership. Also, we can see Esther move fron orphan to Queen, David as a shepherd boy to a king, etc. And today it your turn to.move into purpose.

Amazingly, it is as we keep trusting God and obeying His word, even in uncertainty, that He leads us to fulfilment of His plans for us. The journey may seem rough, but being with you takes you through huddles to a glorious end. Cheer up the end shall align with God's mandate today in Jesus name.

Prayer point:

Heavenly Father, help me to trust in Your plans no matter my current experience in the pit of life n Jesus name.

Action Quote:

Remember, as you reflect on your life journey, you will see the several pits you have escaped.

Dream Yet Again

Text: Genesis 39:9 (KJV)

And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Friends, ask yourself - have I given up on a dream God once placed in my heart? Joseph’s gift of dreaming again and again shows that God plants dream in the heart of individuals. So, you too have a dream that shapes destiny. Yes, we all have dreams and aspiration, so it is not time to let them die but you can revisit that vision of yours. Our dreams points to our destiny in life. Unfortunately, Joseph dream stirred up envy in the hearts of the brethren but God’s thought is for our peace. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. But that envy did not stop the great dream because it finally came to pass. You cannot allow opposition to silence your dream but keep up your faith in God. However, many dreams have been buried because other external forces frustrated the dream but Joseph refused to let go rather he dreamed yet another dream. Therefore, let’s learn to remain open to fresh vision because God is not over with us despite the challenges that may delay our dreams today. Even if life knocked you down, “dream yet again”. Remember, there is power in God Given Dream that will make it to happen. Habakkuk 2:2–3 Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Amazingly, you can dream in the midst of trials if only we can lift our eyes and trust in God because His power is at work in us. Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. People may misunderstand, mock, or even fight against the vision God has given us. But stay put on God’s side. For instance, Joseph’s story teaches us that if God is the giver of the dream, He is also the keeper of the dream and will continue to walk with you to the end. And He will not allow anything to stop that dream from finding expression because it is for a generational deliverance. But, it is a matter of time, it will surely come to pass if we focus on the giver today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, I receive grace never to stop my dream even when the oppositions are coming from very close brethren against the dream in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, to hold fast to God’s promises even when the dream tarry.

Divine encounter for transformation

Text: Genesis 32:26-28(KJV)

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Friends, if I may ask, where and when were your last places of encounters? Remember, divine encounters still exist which is a life changing experience that lives us with an unforgettable adventure. So, in divine encounters we meet deep and personally with God that lives us with a lasting change of character, direction and ultimately transformation in destiny that makes us to discover purpose. You can see the name of Jacob was changed to Israel as he declared “I will not let you go until you bless me”. Also in Exodus 3:-3-5 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. 5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.  Yes, God reveals himself personally as it is orchestrated divinely for a reason.  Hence, there is an inner and outward change that happens in every genuine encounter with divinity. Also, we can see that Jacob’s wrestle with God changed his name for a renewed destiny with a new identity. We must learn to always see such encounters as a privilege to meet with God just like Jacob did and also Paul. Acts 9:3-4 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?

Interestingly, God still steps into people’s life for a spiritual, emotional and even physical encounters as to fulfil their purpose both here on earth and eternity in view. Mathew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Today, God is drawing us near in prayer, His word, worship in a way to change us for a blessing. Therefore, a divine encounter is not just a religious experience but a meeting point with God where His power, presence, and purpose collide with our human frailty living us with a brand new identity from weakness to strength, from fear to faith into divine purpose. And today is another opportunity to hunger for divine encounter in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, help me to position myself daily in the study of the word, in prayers for a fresh encounter that will turn my life around in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, your encounter may not always be a dramatic vision or wrestling, but His Spirit lives you with a change on how you live, walk and see yourself.

Wrestling with God until the daybreak

Text: Genesis 32:24-32(KJV)

Vs 24 And Jacob was left alone: and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. Vs 25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

Friends, we get to a turning point of our lives where we are left alone just like Jacob from the scripture above. He was burdend by the past and fearing Esau because of uncertainty of the future. So, he wrestled with the angel of God all through the night until the daybreak. Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. He needed a change of life for a blessing. Hence, it requires us persisting in prayer, surrendering our strength, and seeking transformation from God as we get broken in His presence. Yes, it is a picture of the heart that refuses to let go until it has receive God’s touch, favor, and new identity. And today as we wrestle in His presence, we go from self-reliance to God-reliance which brings about sustainable transformation on every side. And Jacob’s name was changed from a supplanter and deceiver to Isreal. And God is changing you for a blessing just like he did to Jabez and enlarged the coast. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Amazingly, Jesus also taught us not to give up in praying just the widow in Luke 18:1-3 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;  Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. Thus, as we wrestle in prayer, it strengthens and weakens, breaks and rebuilds, humbles and exalts. I pray we shall not quit in prayer rather wrestle with faith in our pursuit in life no matter the delay. Today, we need this mark of brokenness and humility that brings about lasting change in the altar of intercession. Therefore, wrestling with God for a blessing means holding on to Him in prayer until something shifts. I pray we shall persevere with God for a change in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, give me the strength to hold on to You in times of struggle as you teach me not to let go until I receive the blessing. I yield to your separation and brokenness today in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, your wrestle and struggle may leave marks, but they also will release destinies.

Be faithful over the few

Text: Mathew 25:21(KJV)

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

Friends, can you be consistent and trusted with that small assignment given to you? It is in so doing that you are qualified for higher task. Yes, there is a gift handed over to you each day which is an opportunity for a responsibility for character check. Certain times, they are God’s resources and other people goods. Can you proof your character where you can receive well done, yes it may be a small task but how do you handle it? So, if you are not faithful in the little, there is no need expecting greater assignment. Zechariah 4:10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. We must learn to remain honestly on duty even when nobody is watching you in close door. Remember, God sees how we manage our time, money, relationships, gifts, and even daily choices. Faithfulness in “little things” is the pathway to greater blessings and assignments. So, our faithfulness should begin on the grand stages, hidden and small places of our lives. Therefore, that small is a seed for greatness, so do not despise it so we can enjoy divine reward and inner peace. Colossians 3:23-25 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward

Interestingly, integrity cannot be unnoticed. It will show in your diligence and dedication of duty. But many times, we desire God’s promotion, greater blessings, or larger assignments, yet God is watching how we handle the little we already have. Proverbs 28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. For instance, David was faithful in caring for the father’s sheep before God entrusted him with a kingdom by anointing to become king. And today, I pray we shall continue our secret service of prayer, handling money and other responsibilities faithfully even when no one sees us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, help us to be diligent in the small assignment given to us by doing our best and in loving with recognition today in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, that small action of obedience builds the foundation for greater trust from God.

Walking in worship by Grace

Text: Hebrews 12:28 (KJV)

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire

Friends, we can reflect God in every activity today that means there is a continual lifestyle of walking in worship which demands a guided life of a walk in the spirit. It is not a one-time adventure rather an ongoing life which expresses a reverence to God. Yes, it is in our walk of worship that we worship God in truth and in spirit. Therefore, our ability to worship and live for God does not come from our strength, but from what God supplies through Christ Jesus which is an unmerited empowerment. Ephesians 2:8–10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. So, let’s make worship a lifestyle and not an event as we walk with a sustained capacity through His divine enablement. Hence, it is grace that fuels our genuine worship in this kingdom. Let’s make worship to become who we are, as we take every step with reverence in dedication to the almighty today. Remember, the flesh grows weary, the mind becomes distracted, and life’s challenges often dim our devotion. But, grace makes it possible. 1 Corinthians 15:10 - But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect.

Amazingly, it deepens our fellowship with God and grants us access to freedom in His presence. 2 Cori 12:9 But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. So, we need to live daily with this life of reverence, obedience, and devotion to God. It should not be by human effort, but through the strength, favor, and empowerment that is in God’s grace which he has provided to all. We are encouraged to always remember to thank God for this gift of grace that empowers us for a ceaseless walk in worship in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Oh Lord, may your grace allow us to surrender our hearts, obey Your word, and glorify God in our singing, words, thoughts, and actions today in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember to lean on God as to live in worship as an act of grace.

Behold, as in a Glass

Text: James 1:23-25(KJV)

For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Friends, we must learn to see the word of God as the mirror in which we behold to become. Hence, in a normal day, we get confirmation to our personality through the view point of a mirror which builds confidence in us after our make-up. Therefore, it is important we reflect on a daily basis our lives with the mirror of the word. Yes, Christ is our mirror and he transforms us from inside and out as we keep gazing on His word though not in a glance. So, the more we look into His word, the more clearer we gain direction into His will and plan for our glorious future. Therefore, we are polished as we keep stirring at Him through His word. Beholding is more than a quick glance, it is a steady gaze. So spend some time today looking into God’s Word as a mirror. Don’t rush away today. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Interestingly, we begin to resemble Christ and become like him both in nature and in His image as keep beholding. In this mirror of His word, we see others and God’s truth that makes us to live at peace with our world. 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. Remember, transformation is not instant but progressive as we move from glory to glory as His nature is rubbed on us again and again. So, regular beholding reveals himself which strengthens us for a transformed outcome. I pray we shall continue to gaze deeply until we are changed in Jesus name

PRAYER POINT:

Oh Lord, let my thoughts, words, and actions reflect Jesus to the world around me as I keep looking into the mirror of God’s word in Jesus name

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, you are transformed to be His identity with a renewed self.

I Have Found Water

Text: Genesis 26:18-20(KJV)

And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them. 19 And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water. 20 And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.

Friends, have you truly found the water of life? So, if Yes, recognize the worth of what you have found and guard it jealously as well as, do all to preserve it as gold. From the scripture above, you can see that Isaac’s servant digged in valley where you cannot expect water but they rather found a well that is springing water. And today, God is presenting to us life and refreshing moment that we shall thirst no more. Therefore, there is a well of breakthrough and divine provision that awaits us because of God’s faithfulness in our finance, relationship, health and spiritual life. This water is a sign of God’s blessing which sustains one in a dry place. Yes, there are seasons of digging, working and trusting God, so you don’t give up but draw all with joy. Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Thus, in His leading you will always find pasture. Today, God shall smite the rock for a refreshing drink as we receive answers to our prayers. So, keep digging because this water is found in Christ as we embrace Him. Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.

Amazingly, with this fountain of water when discovered, you can be rest assured of fruitfulness and divine supplies with a running over blessing in every area of life. John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. God promises to satisfy the thirsty and revive what is dry or barren. Though, the ground may seem desolate, don’t be discouraged rather dig again and God shall lead you to your place of abundance. Maybe, the effort may seem wasted, keep up your faith of obedience like Isaac’s servant who declared “we have found water”. And we shall be the next testifier in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, whatever that is striving my labour to fruitlessness in this season they shall crumble as you teach me to trust you because the water is ours and I shall not be denied of my blessings in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, we have found a well of water that is flowing ceaselessly in us. And Jesus is that fountain of life.
