Walking in worship by Grace

Text: Hebrews 12:28 (KJV)

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire

Friends, we can reflect God in every activity today that means there is a continual lifestyle of walking in worship which demands a guided life of a walk in the spirit. It is not a one-time adventure rather an ongoing life which expresses a reverence to God. Yes, it is in our walk of worship that we worship God in truth and in spirit. Therefore, our ability to worship and live for God does not come from our strength, but from what God supplies through Christ Jesus which is an unmerited empowerment. Ephesians 2:8–10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. So, let’s make worship a lifestyle and not an event as we walk with a sustained capacity through His divine enablement. Hence, it is grace that fuels our genuine worship in this kingdom. Let’s make worship to become who we are, as we take every step with reverence in dedication to the almighty today. Remember, the flesh grows weary, the mind becomes distracted, and life’s challenges often dim our devotion. But, grace makes it possible. 1 Corinthians 15:10 - But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect.

Amazingly, it deepens our fellowship with God and grants us access to freedom in His presence. 2 Cori 12:9 But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. So, we need to live daily with this life of reverence, obedience, and devotion to God. It should not be by human effort, but through the strength, favor, and empowerment that is in God’s grace which he has provided to all. We are encouraged to always remember to thank God for this gift of grace that empowers us for a ceaseless walk in worship in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Oh Lord, may your grace allow us to surrender our hearts, obey Your word, and glorify God in our singing, words, thoughts, and actions today in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember to lean on God as to live in worship as an act of grace.
