Be faithful over the few

Text: Mathew 25:21(KJV)

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

Friends, can you be consistent and trusted with that small assignment given to you? It is in so doing that you are qualified for higher task. Yes, there is a gift handed over to you each day which is an opportunity for a responsibility for character check. Certain times, they are God’s resources and other people goods. Can you proof your character where you can receive well done, yes it may be a small task but how do you handle it? So, if you are not faithful in the little, there is no need expecting greater assignment. Zechariah 4:10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. We must learn to remain honestly on duty even when nobody is watching you in close door. Remember, God sees how we manage our time, money, relationships, gifts, and even daily choices. Faithfulness in “little things” is the pathway to greater blessings and assignments. So, our faithfulness should begin on the grand stages, hidden and small places of our lives. Therefore, that small is a seed for greatness, so do not despise it so we can enjoy divine reward and inner peace. Colossians 3:23-25 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward

Interestingly, integrity cannot be unnoticed. It will show in your diligence and dedication of duty. But many times, we desire God’s promotion, greater blessings, or larger assignments, yet God is watching how we handle the little we already have. Proverbs 28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. For instance, David was faithful in caring for the father’s sheep before God entrusted him with a kingdom by anointing to become king. And today, I pray we shall continue our secret service of prayer, handling money and other responsibilities faithfully even when no one sees us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, help us to be diligent in the small assignment given to us by doing our best and in loving with recognition today in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, that small action of obedience builds the foundation for greater trust from God.
