Congratulations and welcome to the month of October.
Text: Psalm
100:4-5 (KJV)
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his
courts with praise. For the LORD is good; his mercy is
everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
Friends, welcome to the month of October. It
is a privilege to walk into this new season of nurturing and flourishing as we
remain planted in His presence. Yes, He has brought us thus far by His mercy,
therefore, we must spend time to sincerely acknowledge his love towards us. Beloved, thanksgiving is a key that unlocks
our hidden potentials and expectations, if we constantly pour our hearts in
songs. Psalm 92:1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the
LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High. There is
beauty in thanksgiving as it is an act which is loaded with benefits both
inward and outward. It is not a seasonal
adventure rather a daily routine that downloads the future blessings for our
inheritance. By so doing, we beautify our relationship with God because
gratitude magnifies his goodness and strengthen our faith in Him. Hence,
thanksgiving brings inner peace as a thankful heart is a joyful heart and not a
bitter disposition. Therefore, we must radiates outward joy as it makes one
attractive where murmuring is the reverse. Today, as we give thanks, we
shift our focus from the problems to the greatness of God which reflects on our
countenance. So, let’s express gratitude to God as a lifestyle and not an event
as we speak or sing it out daily. 1 Thessalonians
5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is
the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Interestingly, we must cultivate an attitude
of thanksgiving in praises, prayers, giving, obedience to His words, testimony,
etc which attracts open doors of blessings as it positions us for increase. Remember, thanksgiving turns our situation
into a testimony by the fruits of evidence. So, let’s live daily with this beauty
and glory of thanksgiving. Psalm 67:5-7 Let the
people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield
her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all
the ends of the earth shall fear him. Thanksgiving also attracts
multiplication of blessings. We can see how Jesus gave thanks over five loaves
and two fishes, and it multiplied into excess that fed five thousand men in
John 6: 11. I pray our thanksgiving will glorify God and attract the blessing
for our beauty in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, thank You for Your countless blessings in my life,
so teach me to see the beauty in every situation and respond with a heart of
gratitude
all through this season in Jesus name.
ACTION
QUOTE: Remember, thanksgiving should never depart
from our lips as to reflect His glory in all season.
