Text: Genesis
26:18-20(KJV)
And Isaac digged again the
wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for
the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called
their names after the names by which his father had called them. 19 And
Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing
water. 20 And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen,
saying, The water is ours: and
he called the name of the well Esek;
because they strove with him.
Friends, have you truly found the water of life?
So, if Yes, recognize the worth of what you have found and guard it jealously as
well as, do all to preserve it as gold. From the scripture above, you can see
that Isaac’s servant digged in valley where you cannot expect water but they
rather found a well that is springing water. And today, God is presenting to us
life and refreshing moment that we shall thirst no more. Therefore, there is a well
of breakthrough and divine provision that awaits us because of God’s
faithfulness in our finance, relationship, health and spiritual life. This
water is a sign of God’s blessing which sustains one in a dry place. Yes, there
are seasons of digging, working and trusting God, so you don’t give up but draw
all with joy. Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of
salvation. Thus, in His leading you will always find pasture.
Today, God shall smite the rock for a refreshing drink as we receive answers to
our prayers. So, keep digging because this water is found in Christ as we
embrace Him. Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry
ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine
offspring.
Amazingly, with this fountain of water when discovered,
you can be rest assured of fruitfulness and divine supplies with a running over
blessing in every area of life. John 4:14 But whosoever
drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water
that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into
everlasting life. God promises to satisfy the thirsty and revive what is
dry or barren. Though, the ground may seem desolate, don’t be discouraged
rather dig again and God shall lead you to your place of abundance. Maybe, the
effort may seem wasted, keep up your faith of obedience like Isaac’s servant
who declared “we have found water”. And we shall be the next testifier in Jesus
name.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, whatever that is striving my labour to fruitlessness in this season they
shall crumble as you teach me to trust you because the water is ours and I
shall not be denied of my blessings in Jesus name.
