Face to Face with God

Text: Exodus 33:11 (KJV)

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend 

Friends, we long for a more moment of intimacy where we are face to face with God. Hence, we are not in a moment of distant relationship with God but a deeper knowledge with Him for His glory to rub on us. So, it is not merely a physical interface with God rather an intimacy, a fellowship and a friendship that is inseparable as it is not seasonal. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Therefore, it is a time of openness with our creator where we are made and nurtured from inside out. Hence, Moses experienced this as he got to a point of closeness with God as a friend that means God revealed himself personally to Moses. Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Yes, we should not allow anything to stand on the way including sin, doubt, distractions, worries etc. as these barriers can hinder our face to face encounter where we enjoy peace and empowerment. 

Amazingly, there is level of fellowship where nothing stands in between you and God. It is an unbroken level of fellowship and divine presence where we dwell under the secret place of the most high for clarity of instructions. Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.  Thus, the encounter at this moment is transformative with tangible evidence that cannot be denied. Hence, just as a friend speaks heart to heart, so God speaks to us as his dear children face to face. I pray we shall get to this point of intimacy at the hour of prayer, worship and in the study of His word daily in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:  

Heavenly father help me to cultivate this kind of relationship where I can be open and pour my heart to God in His presence at all times in Jesus name.
