Walk the WORD

 

Text: Joshua 1:8 (KJV)

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success.

Friends, we are in a journey in this second half of the year and it a walk with clarity of purpose that will make one to arrive at a glorious end.  Therefore, the good success is possible as we journey day and night according to all that is written. There is movement on a regular pace that lifts you forward which requires a one and one moment with the word.  The word is fundamental for our living in this Christian life and life in general, so we need to keep our feet on the word as to journey aright. We must develop a systematic way of reading and studying the word of God. It is the manual for our existence, so there is need for an intentional attitude and dedication as to have a walk of the word of life. Psalm 119:105 (KJV) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path It is from the word you know and discover the personality of your creator on a personal bases. As you walk with God through His word, you hear him with specific instructions.  It requires daily conduct as a behavior. It is a day to day adventure in line with His precepts and line upon line.

Interestingly, it is those who walk with God that produces much more fruits as His word yields produce for whatsoever we shall do shall prosper. Therefore, we need to focus on the word and not just spiritually but also physically and otherwise. Math,24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away. So, stick to the compass of our life.  The word plants us on His will that makes it impossible to be rooted out by the wind of life. So, we are not like that chaff that is tossed up and down by life challenges. Grace to go with his light of scriptures in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Oh Lord help me to purify my life daily by the word as I stay in the pathway of the truth in Jesus name.
