Keep up His Charge

 

Happy New Month of April

Text:1 Kings 2:3 (KJV)

And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself

 

Friends, we celebrate God’s faithful and mercy that has brought us thus far. CONGRATULATIONS. We are indeed moving at the wing of His love, but remember, obedience to His charge is the key in the new month. Therefore, we must learn to keep the charge of the Lord as we journey through this new month. And this is possible by keeping His word, His commandment and His calling without drifting. It is a template set before us, so if we must walk in His ways by aligning with His instructions just like David advised his son Solomon, we must His charge. In so doing, we shall reap the benefit of his glory ahead of us in this new season.  Hence, we shall prosper in all that we do.  So, we should not turn aside out of his way in where and what so ever we do. But, we should continue with God and the Lord will continue his word which he said concerning us. Joshua 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.

Amazingly, as we take heed to His ways, and walk before the truth with all our heart and with all our soul, God will not fail us all through this season. Deut. 29:9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. Therefore, no matter what we see or hear, let’s continue to do according to His word as the Lord will show us kindness of God in every day of the month. I pray, we shall guide all that He has given us including His word and gift which is a covenant promise in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, help us to walk according to all that is written in this book of the Lord, as you strengthen and guard us daily in Jesus name.
