Text: Psalms
40:2-3 (KJV)
2 He brought me up also out of an
horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and
established my goings.3 And he hath put a new song in my
mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust
in the Lord.
Friends, we should not be too fast to forget our
journey with God. In fact, we have gone through life and God has gone through
with us, too. Yes, there are experiences that came to us and it seems as if we
cannot come out, but here we are by His mercy. Indeed, He brought us out of the
horrible pit and also set our feet upon the rock. It is a position of safety
and establishment. Psalms27:2- When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up
my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Each and every one of us has
faced some pressing and destructive challenges in our lives but the Lord kept
us. But, our scripture is reminding us that we will soon sing a new song
because God has set us up on a solid rock. So, cheer up, this rock never fails.
Interestingly, His outstretched hand is set to rescue us, and
He does not just bring you out armless, but He also establishes you in His will
and agenda as our solid rock. Isaiah.62:7-And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he
make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. I pray we shall yield to God’s place of attraction and
settlement in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Heavenly father, take us to your
place of distinction where we can sing a new song and not gnashing of teeth in Jesus
name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, you have a
dwelling place of honour in His plan.
