Text: Colossians
1:20 (KJV)
And,
having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all
things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things
in heaven.
Friends, there has been a gap between our heaven father
and man because of our sin nature. And this came to us by the Adamic nature.
So, God as a holy father who cannot behold sin, hence he has to lay down His
only son for remission of our sin as He brought reconciliation back to man
through the sacrificial love of the cross. Today, we are no longer wandering in
darkness but restored back to our father. 2Cori.5:18-19
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us
to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of
reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto
himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us
the word of reconciliation
Interestingly,
that wall of partition that was standing between God and man was broken down by
His death on the cross. Hence, there is no more barrier rather we have access
with God by the input of intercession. And this has made us a new man with a new
heart that gave us a new identity in Christ. Heb.
11:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who
through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your
conscience from dead works to serve the living God. And today, as believer we have been committed
with the assignment of the word of reconciliation to others within our network.
I pray we shall not hide but share the word of reconciliation today in Jesus
name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Heavenly father help us to live in
this restored relationship and also share to other to express joy of
reconciliation in Jesus name.
