Text: 2Chro 22:3
(KJV)
And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself
to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast through all Judah.
Friends, if I may ask, where do you place the Lord in
your order of priority? We are in a world of needs and challenges with
uncountable concerns in life that brings about distractions. Yes, the pressures
of life can make us push God by the side. Hence, it is important to set our
priorities right by seeking God first whenever we are overwhelmed in life. Like Jehoshaphat when the great multitude
came against him, he feared but set himself to seek the Lord as he proclaimed a
fast throughout Judah. So, let us run to God early for direction unfortunately,
many place God last. Psalm 63:1 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek
You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where
there is no water. Therefore, we
must learn to seek the help of the Lord on time without delays.
Amazingly,
the God of our father’s rules in our affairs as none is able to withstand us
over all the kingdoms and the storms of life, if only we set our priorities
right. Howbeit, we must learn to run to
Him early and not when we are frustrated in life as many live God as their last
resort. Math 6:33 But seek
ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall
be added unto you. I pray we shall accept, believe and confess Jesus today as to make God
the foundation of our all as to tap into divine flow and not as an afterthought
in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father, help us not to worry about
what to drink, eat or wear rather seek Him first as a divine principle today in
Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, let us not just
set priority rather set our trust in Jesus.
