Text: Psalm 18:2(KJV)
The Lord is my rock, and
my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my
buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Friends, God is eternal and unchanging no matter
the uncertainty of the world today. He is steadfast as He cannot shift His
personality. Hence, there is no fragile foundation in Him. Though, life brings
trials, temptation and hard times, Jesus Christ is still our rock and our
salvation. We can be safe and secured in Him. He is the only true rock and we
can drink from the rock of life for our spiritual, physical and emotional
energy today. So, when we build in the rock, it will not collapse as it is
standing firm for ages. Psalm 62:7-8 He only is my
rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my
salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Amazingly, as our rock, He is our shelter in the
time of storm as He shields us by His strength. So, God will bring calmness to
that chaos situation as he grants us peace and stability for those that anchor
and trust in Jesus. Isaiah 26:4 Trust ye in
the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.
He empowers us to overcome the confusions in life. Remember, our anchor is in God and we shall
not be moved even as men of old had Him as their hiding place. Psalm.31:3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore
for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me. We cannot shake a rock
as it is from everlasting to everlasting. I pray we shall run to Him as our
place of refuge in the time of weakness for there is eternal security in Jesus
our rock today in Jesus name.
Father, help us to keep firm even when life storm
rages, may we fix our eyes on God in Jesus name.
