SEEK HIS FACE.

 

 

Text: Psalms 27:8 (KJV)

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face: my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

Friends, seeking Him is a level of thorough search with our whole heart about the person of the living God. It requires panting after Him and not your needs. Hence,seeking Him requires maximum commitment and meditation that will make you know and experience His presence by drawing near to Him. It is not a mouth engagement rather genuine heart submission that comes by desperation. Psalm 24:6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face O, Jacob. It is a level of deep intimacy of His person of beauty. It is a realm of His presence which unveils the mind of God for help and divine guidance.

 

Amazingly, God can never hide His face from any one that seek Him. But, let’s yield absolutely to the living God in all area of our lives. 2 Chro.7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. In our world of distraction with so many desires, many are seeking for His hand, His blessings, His provisions etc which are the fruits that comes from seeking His face. But, as we seek Him first today, we know Him deeply for a relationship which comes as we search His word, and encounters with the Holy Spirit who is the teacher of all. I pray we shall find rest in our soul with Him in Jesus name.

1. Father, help us to seek your presence for a communion, as we abide in the secret place of the most high in Jesus name.
