3:8(KJV)
Finally, be ye all of one
mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be
courteous.
Friends, we need to develop this important virtue
to walk in unity and in harmony for better achievement. It is an attitude that yields great results
as two good heads are better than one. It requires agreement among individuals that
helps them to work with the same value and goal. Unfortunately, we see more of
conflicts amongst brethren with so much divisions even with friends. But, it is
vital we share understanding and love together as to enjoy the benefits of
togetherness. Yes, we need to work for mutual care that will help us to build
unity of purpose by considering other people’s interest. It is possible as we
fellowship and pray together to live in one accord. Philippians
2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one
accord, of one mind. Remember, oneness will help us to promote growth
and attract the blessing of peace and open doors.
Therefore, let’s learn the unity of faith which
requires standing on the word of God for the truth. Hence, we must avoid strife and foster the
spirit of peace that will help us to work together in our relationships today. John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in
me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe
that thou hast sent me. However, so many families and organizations are
working in disarray but with oneness of mind we can achieve greater results on
every side as we yield to the Holy Spirit. I pray God will help us to be
like-minded and compassionate with one another on daily basis in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Oh Lord, seal every opening for disunity and confusion that is affecting our
services and relationships as you uproot the spirit of division today in Jesus
name.
