Walking in dominion

Text:  Genesis 1:28 (KJV)

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living that that moveth upon the earth.

Friends, it is time we understand the authority and victory that God handed over to us as His dear children. It is a dominion mandate just as Adam had to name the animals and tend the garden. It is an authority of a conqueror by reason of what is deposited in our inside.  We are made in God’s image and therefore we are not slaves who struggles in life and destiny. So, dominate your world today. Hence, we are divinely assigned to be in authority and in rulership to all the creation of the earth. Joshua 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said to Moses. It is not for arrogance rather to be in control of our environment as God’s representative. So, we shall begin now to walk in obedience according as God has purposed in our lives. It is not a pride rather we align with God’s command to dominate the earth. We have dominion over limitations as we embrace Christ Jesus. Deut 28:11 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail and thou shall be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath: if that thou hearken unto the commandment of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.

Amazingly, walking in dominion is a life of consciousness that you are carrying God’s authority which was restored back to us through Christ Jesus which was lost by sin. Remember, it is not a position rather a practical reflection of your authority over sin, fear, lack, sickness, force of darkness etc. Therefore, the death of Jesus raised us to reign with Him in glory as power has been given to us. Luke 10:19, He says, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.   Hence, we are no more bound to sin with our Adamic nature because we have power over opposition and life challenges today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, help us to pray, speak, act and live in dominion by exercising the power to say ‘No’ to sin and ‘Yes’ to God’s will in Jesus name.
