Text: Proverb 18:10 (KJV)
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into
it, and is safe
Friends, the concept of safety
goes beyond the physical protection. Yes, we can see the violence, accidents
and even spiritual attacks all around the world today, so we cannot depend on
physical defense and security. It is therefore necessary to align with God’s
source for a lasting protection and preservation of life and property, in which
case, we can be rest assured that no matter the storm before us, God is
reliable. Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place
of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The good news is that God is not just a
creator but a keeper of every of His product seeing that all that He made is
good with divine purpose. Hence, His protection is not partial but complete no
matter the geographical location.
Amazingly, as believers we must
enjoy divine safety, that means we are living under the watch-care of God. 2 Thes.3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who
shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. Yes, His
supernatural protection is a shield and a canopy from all form of harm no
matter the root, as He did to Daniel and the three Hebrew boys in the furnace
of fire. He delivers us from evil as well as preserves us from destruction. Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the
waters, I will be with thee and through the rivers, they shall not overflow
thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned: neither
shall the flame kindle upon thee. So, divine safety is not the absence of danger
rather it is God’s presence in the midst of the storm that means no weapon
formed against you shall prosper. Therefore, let’s embrace prayer, obedience and
faith as a lifestyle as to enjoy divine safety in times of uncertainty.
Remember, the blood of Jesus is for our safety. And today, He is reassuring us
of His everlasting protective covering in Jesus name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1. Heavenly Father,
be my shield and my buckler that will preserve me from falling as you did to
men of old in Jesus name.
