Embrace the MEDIATOR

Text:  1 Timothy 2:5(KJV)

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Friends, in this world of conflict with broken relationships, a mediator plays a vital role to our peace as He bridges the gap between us. So, we have a go-between God and man. He is the person of JESUS. He advocates for both on spiritual and physical matters. He is the one and only true mediator of man. Hence, by his mediatorship, we receive the eternal promise of the father for our inheritance. So, the better covenant in the new-testament came to us as He mediates for our sin and mercy. 1 John 2:1 And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. However, he understands our weakness and presents us faultless before the father as a solicitor. Let’s rest on his sufficiency today and cheer up. Romans 5:1-Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Interestingly, as a true mediator, he is not just mediating in words like a human figure advocate but with His life as a sacrifice even by His death on the cross. So, as a mediator He reconciles us back to God, as well as intercedes for us daily no matter the load of sin and concerns.  Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself. Therefore, there is a full guarantee of the promise of God as we enjoy access to the throne of God by His mercy. And we are accepted into the new covenant because of our mediator Jesus Christ. So, let’s embrace Him as our saviour now in Jesus name

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Oh Lord, thank you for your infinite love even while we were yet sinners and your ultimate assurance for eternal life by your advocacy in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, He speaks on our behalf which grants us access to the father’s throne.
