Strength in warfare

 

 

Text: Ephesians 6:10-11 (KJV)

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil

Friends, we need God working in our battle either spiritual or physical to overcome all. Life is filled with battles but that is the proof of your existence and growth as each friction gives way to new experience. But, we must develop scriptural and spiritual mentality as to receive boldness that empowers our physical strength to overcome the difficult season.  Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. The battle can be seen or unseen as the invisible controls the visible but by all means, life is busy with battles. Hence, we need this inner strength that comes as we trust in the capacity of God. Therefore, it is important we build strength today for the battle ahead but remember not in yourself rather in God no matter the human energy. Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. So, as we depend on God, He will not fail us as he increases our strength and he will carry us through the tempest and contrary winds of life.

Amazingly, our victory must be in the enabling strength of God in every phase of challenge because the strength of man will fail at a time you cannot imagine. Therefore, let’s run to God as to leap over the walls before us. Psalm 18:29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. Remember, there is a divine provision as an armour to subdue the plans of the enemy over our lives in the storm. And today, we need the helmet of salvation, faith in God, sword of the spirit that empowers us in warfare from within. So, let’s trust God, stay rooted in the word as we remain fervent in prayer today for our victory tomorrow in Jesus name.

1. Heavenly father strengthen my heart, for on my own I can do nothing but by your strength I will triumph valiantly in Jesus name.
