Text: Luke 8:46 (KJV)
And Jesus
said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me
Friends, the day we step out with
a journey of faith brings about our turning point. Yes, there is power in His
touch and in our touch with Him especially when it is moved by faith. So, we can see that faith is an act and not
just a thought neither is it only a confession. Hence, the woman with the issue
of blood who had suffered for twelve years long standing pain of infirmity
ceased by this touch of faith even with the crowd thronged and pressed with
Jesus. Yes, a woman was there with an intention
for a turnaround. We can see she came
behind Jesus and touched the hem of His garment to avoid limitation. But Jesus
acknowledged that virtue has gone out of Him because it was a different touch
not with familiarity. Acts 10:38 How God anointed
Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing
good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Interestingly, the virtue is a transforming
power that is resident in Jesus that came to Him by sacrifice. It carries
divine nature that brings about healing and more. It is a force that is
available only in Jesus. So, we can tap into the supernatural if we can walk
and work in faith. Psalm 107:20 He sent his word,
and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Remember, it is triggering force that birth
the miraculous that we enjoy today in Christ Jesus. That virtue is so powerful
that it is embedded in any of the mystery of Jesus. It is a touch of healing
and wholeness that is evident in the ministry of Jesus on earth. And I pray
this virtue of Jesus which is an invisible spiritual force is locating us as we
touch Him in faith in Jesus name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1. Oh Lord, I
bring every area of my life to the virtue of the healing power of Jesus even as
He passes by today in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, Jesus still heals today with His divine
nature.
