HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY
Text: Isaiah
53:5 2:20 (KJV)
But he was wounded for
our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our
peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Friends,
congratulations, it is a GOOD FRIDAY and not a BAD DAY. So, the sacrifice of
Jesus on the cross also bore our sicknesses not just physical but all round experience
for our wholeness. Yes, he restored in and out of all our endeavours and today
we are made whole. Hence, it influences our Spirit, Soul and body of a total
man. So, at the cross he took our pain, shame and sorrow away as well as our
infirmities which gave us sound health, no matter the level of damage. Jere 30:17 For I will
restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.
Beloved, the cross is one of the greatest event in life as He took what we
deserve and grant us grace and peace on every side.
Amazingly,
the stripes he bore at his back brought healing and wholeness to humanity.3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be
in health, even as thy soul prospereth. The wounds in our
heart and minds, he has taken them away and now we have access to His yoke
which is easy. Let’s allow Him into our heart today as to enjoy the rest from
the cross. Yes, the heaviness and burden can be over because they are nailed at
the cross. Let’s work with the restored state of our lives for a better life of
wholeness. Psalm
147:3 He
healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Remember, we are not working
for wholeness, Jesus has paid for all. It is not your effort but a finished
work on the cross. I pray we shall encounter Him afresh in this season in Jesus
name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Thank you for the cross that
brought the Garden of Eden experience of good health and total restoration
today in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, the fragmented
life of burden is over. Cheer up!
