Text: Psalm
105:1-2 (KJV)
O give thanks umto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his
deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his
wonders.
In
our text of today, we should learn to embrace the wonders of this kingdom which
comes to us as a command for our fruitful living. It is of great wisdom to be thankful for all
his wonders and great deed in our endeavours. It is an attitude that adds and
multiplies to you, to others and to God. It looks very simple but very
impactful and result oriented. It is a lifestyle that qualifies you for fresh
oil for tomorrow’s engagement. It is a reflections season and you must count
your blessings and be sensitive not to count your troubles because genuine
thanksgiving graduates into right disposition. Acts
16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God and the
prisoners heard them. They did
not allow their current location hinder their thanksgiving and praiseful
lifestyle. You can start with thanks in
the secret and publicly launch your thanksgiving to the open which suddenly
shakes the prison gates for your release and fulfilment.
Interestingly,
when you are thankful you don’t get stranded. We must learn to recognize that
God is the one behind the good things around you. If Jesus gave thanks in the
insufficient meal at the desert place and it multiplied to overflow, we can’t
you thank Him today for your current level and you will see and access your new
level to basket full, God did all and can still do the marvelous expectations
in Jesus name. Let’s thank God for all , and He will supernaturally supply the
impossible to abundance. He can even
over turn that stinking situation just by thanks as He did at the grave of Lazarus
after 4 days in the grave. Friends, let’s give Him all the thanks for He has
been faithful to us. Isaiah 12:5 Sing unto the Lord, for he hath done excellent
things, this is known in all the earth
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father,
may my thanksgiving altar never run dry rather may I get addicted as it brings
answers faster in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, gradual lack of thankfulness is application for gradual
shamefulness that will soon become open
