Text: Daniel 2:23 (KJV)
I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my
fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now
what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's
matter.
When you wake up in
the morning, what do you do first? We should learn to show proper appreciation
to God. The truth is, God is so merciful, and He is ever ready to fight and
defend us in our battles. But many even differ to thank God, saying I will
thank God later. This great and mighty God does not sleep nor
slumber over your case, beloveth THANK GOD AGAIN AND AGAIN. Thanksgiving can
never be excess. We should form the
habit of thanking Him any moment we open our eyes or a memory of something. As
you remember something, say THANK YOU JESUS. That you can breathe and your
memory can articulate, just declare thank you Jesus. He literally does not close His eyes for a millisecond
concerning our matters. Psalms
121:4- Behold, he
that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Amazingly, we are
surrounded by a lot of good things in our lives and we need to be grateful for
that because He is the originator of all good and perfect things that we are
enjoying today. James 1:17- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from
above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness,
neither shadow of turning. Do not jump into prayer request in this kind of season because you can
pray amiss but you can’t thank God amiss. In your own unique way, make it a
life style to give God all the thanks. He cannot share His glory with any man
rather give HIM all the glory. Who separates the oxygen we breath in from
carbon dioxide we breath out. Friends, calm down and appreciate God for all in
Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father, may I
live a life of gratitude at all times and not ingrate, not only when I receive
a new miracle in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Do not forget the hand of God upon your life and appreciate the hand of
man.
