Sing to Laughter

 

Text: Psalm 126:2 (KJV)

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

A turnaround life is all possible because it is an experience that brings about gladness. Sarah, Hannah, and many others in the Bible laughed when they experienced a new encounter. Laughter comes without preparation.  Laughter is a junction of change. God turns your negative experience into dancing. Never imagine that it takes a long time for the laughter to come, but rather it is just the opposite; it is a sudden switch from sadness. Your countenance immediately changes from a sad state to laughter. The old garment is removed, and you wear a new look not based on make-up. Laughter is the best medicine. Proverbs 17:22- A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. It is a lifestyle we must develop as believers.

Interestingly, laughter happens promptly, and you cannot resist it. Life is full of pressure and oppression in this hard time, which hinders your joy, but God turns our captivity into dancing like a dream in the night, and this seems too good to be true. But you can decide to live a life of gladness, laughter, singing, dancing, and rejoicing as a lifestyle. Psalms 30:11- Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou has put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness. Clean up your tears and welcome to your default laughter mood, in Jesus name

PRAYER POINT:

1. Thank you Lord, for the oil of laughter, which is a medicine in my life. We pray for several reasons for laughter and rejoicing in our lives in Jesus name.
