Text: 2Chronicles 20:12
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might
against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do;
but our eyes are upon thee.
Friends, there is need to learn this virtue if you must be right and achieve purpose. We are in a circumstance where you are confronted on every side, we should learn to inquire of the Lord by focusing on Him. When our faith is small, and we want to give up, where do we look up to? Is our hope on the hills or on the creator of the universe? Psalm 25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. It is the nature of man to run to God at difficult moments but that should be a natural attitude,
This is not time to look up to God at difficult moments rather we should depend on God for direction daily. To confidently declare like Jehoshaphat “this battle is not yours”, you must know the God of the battle. It is a covenant deal that should be signed when all is well. It is not always easy to run to the leading of the Lord at the centre of the battles if you are not looking unto God. You should have a form mind of determination to avoid conflict of action because we are always confronted with confusion on the direction to look up to at all times. It is in the midst of the challenge that your commitment is being tested. You might not remember God at that thickest moment because several alternatives are presented as a way of escape. Most times, they have their clause without you seeing it because you are under pressure. Remember, you can’t be convinced of Him, if there is no genuine encounter.
PRAYER POINT:
1.Oh Lord may we remember the victories of yesterday's battles as to continue to fix our eyes unto Him on the current situation in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, you can calm down to stand firm looking at His
presence and doing right.
