Security and Divine Protection for our Nation

 

Text: Psalm 121: 7-8(KJV)

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore

Friends, the greatest assurance for any nation is the divine protection of God. We must recognize that human systems will fail, security structures can be overwhelmed, but the arm of the Lord is never weakened. Hence, God remains the ultimate defender of nations, Nigeria inclusive. So, He can see and repair the broken walls over our nation, today. Psalm 46:1- God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Hence, it takes the Lord, to spread His wings of protection over every state in Nigeria. Yes, His presence shall surround us as a shield in our borders, cities, villages, and communities in every part of the country. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Amazingly, when a people call on God, He will respond with mercy securing her people, and frustrating the plans of the wicked. God preserved Israel from countless attacks, so He can cover Nigeria with a canopy of divine defense and nothing shall go wrong. God’s protection is not passive; it is active and powerful. Let’s rely on Him. He surrounds His people like mountains surround Jerusalem. Psalm 125:2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever. He can assign angels to guard and command peace within the land despite the challenging moment in our nation. Remember, no threat is beyond His control, no enemy is stronger than His might. I pray God shall continue to be a refuge for us to live with confidence again, and not in fear in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT: 

Heavenly father, we ask for God’s covering over all states, and for an end to killings, genocide, violence, kidnapping, and terrorism in Nigeria in Jesus name
