Strength to Overcome

Text: Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Friends, there is a strength that comes from divinity which we cannot get from any other source in life. Yes, when a mortal man begins to do things beyond the ordinary it is a proof that there is a divine inoculation at work. Hence, the scripture above reminds us that our ability is not limited to our human strength. The apostle Paul declares that through Christ, he can face every challenge, overcome every obstacle, and accomplish God’s will.Isaiah 40:29 - He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. And as we embrace Christ, we also enjoy God’s strength by His increase of might. Therefore, this teaches us that true strength comes from dependence on Christ, not self-reliance. However, life can present trials, pressures at work, family challenges, or spiritual battlesbut when Christ strengthens us, no difficulty is too great. So, relax in His strength, today.2 Corinthians 12:9 - My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

Interestingly, believers are called to tap into this divine strength daily through prayer, obedience, and faith in Christ. It is not a vague optimism, but a confident assurance that God empowers us to fulfill His purpose in every season.Ephesians 6:10 - Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.I encourage us to always remember that there are energy and strength at work in us that is rooted from God. I pray we shall walk with this consciousness in every of our endeavour in Jesus name.

Prayer Points:

  1. Lord, strengthen us to accomplish all You have called us to do, and help usto rely fully on Your ability in Jesus name.
  2. Father, renew our courage and energy in times of weakness, so we may serve You with confidence in Jesus name.

Action Quote: Remember, your strength is not in your ability, but in Christ who empowers you.
