Declaring what you want to see

Text: Job 22:28(KJV)

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee

Friends, what you say shapes what you see. Yes, as human, we are attempted to declare our feelings when faced with challenges or during spiritual warfare.  But, we should learn to command our day as to set our spiritual tone right. God has given us authority to speak His Word over our lives, therefore we should not close our mouth as it is a closed destiny. Proverbs 18:21- Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. So, declarations are not empty words but they are spiritual seeds and tools which transform situations. We should engage intentionally by speaking boldly and loudly. We should declare with authority and conviction what we want to see. Hence, when our words aligns with Scriptures, your mouth becomes a tool of creation. I encourage us never to speak in fear rather speak in faith. Also, don’t speak in defeat but be specific to declare victory at all times. Remember, God will establish it if you declare it today. 2 Kings 4:16 Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.

Interestingly, we need to speak with faith filled language as we decree and declare, daily. As we repeat consistently what we want to see, it shapes our expectations and our atmosphere. This requires speaking what God speaks concerning every matter.  Romans 4:17 As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.  We should be specific to declare things like healing, peace, promotion, progress, open doors and many more. I pray we shall believe what we say as our heart agrees with our mouth for right confession in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT: 

Oh Lord, teach us to declare our expectations when we feel in doubt or fear as to realign our mind and spirit with God’s mandate in Jesus name.
