Text: Psalm 91:2 (KJV)
I will say of the
Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.
Friends, it is important we align our voices
with the voice of God and not the voice of fear. Yes, confessing God’s promises
boldly is the key. Hence, when our declaration agrees with the mandate of
heaven, there comes rain of answers. 2
Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us
the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We need
to cultivate the life of filling our lips with the word of God, so at the
instant of any challenge we release God’s word that express faith in the
capacity of God and not fear as a result of doubt and anxiety. It aligns us
with God’s power and strength for inner peace. However, every day, life
gives you two possible responses: to speak faith or to speak fear.
Which one will you choose? Remember, Mark 11:23
says - For verily I say unto you, That
whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into
the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things
which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. So,
we can speak faith today like “we are well able” like Caleb and Joshua. Queen
Esther said “if I perish, I perish” also Jesus said “Peace
be still”
Interestingly, we must continue to say it
until we see it happen. As we call forth God’s promises it shapes our reality
that brings about the testimony. Though, fear whispers that it
will not work, I can’t make it, things will get worse etc but you must build
confidence to refuse that fearful suggestion, loudly. Isaiah 41:10 - Fear
thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will
strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right
hand of my righteousness. Your words are powerful, far more powerful
than you often realize. What you choose to say shapes the atmosphere around you
and determines the direction of your heart. So, say right words in faith today,
and we shall receive our answers in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Oh Lord, teach us to replace
fearful thoughts with God’s promises immediately, which requires
speaking faith without fear in Jesus name.
ACTION
QUOTE: Remember, fear is waiting for your voice
either to agree or to reject what is not working.
