Text: James 1:12
(KJV)
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for
when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath
promised to them that love him
Friends, we need to develop the stamina to
remain steadfast in faith when we are tried in life. Such trials can also
happen to our character that can make us lose trust in God as life becomes
unbearable. Yes, our faith is refined and refired through life experiences
because trials are not meant to destroy us but to develop us on every side. It
brings the gold in us as we become spiritually matured to face life and serve
God better. It is endurance that makes us to align in His timing instead of
impatience. Remember, your faith can be deepened as you remain focused on God
by going through the process hour. James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye
fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith
worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect
and entire, wanting nothing. Therefore, endurance
in trials doesn’t mean pretending that the pain isn’t real but it means
trusting that the pain has a purpose at last.
Unfortunately, many choose to quit instead of
enduring the trial moment without realizing it is in the training that we need
to become worthy vessels in His hands. So, the capacity to endure makes us to
remain focused on God’s promises and not in our pains or delays. Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the
sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory
which shall be revealed in us. Remember, Jesus endured the
cross for the joy that was set before Him. You too can endure that situation
because the same Spirit that strengthened Him will strengthen you, too in Jesus
name.
PRAYER POINT:
Oh Lord, give me the strength to endure every trial
with patience and faith as I see beyond my present struggles and to trust in God’s
plan in Jesus name
ACTION
QUOTE: Remember, you can transform this
temporary pain into eternal reward.
