Weary not in well doing

Text:  Isaiah 40:31(KJV)

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Friends, there are ups and down as life can be overwhelming. Yes, a times come when it seems hard and discouraging to do good especially in our world of today. But, it is at that moment we must learn tenacity and never to faint. There is a pay day and that is why we should not give up on doing good neither will you allow anything to discourage you. We see situations when doing good are unnoticed, thankless or even a case where you don’t get recognition by men or even the environment, but we are encouraged to renew our strength like the eagle. 1 Cori 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Certain times, we see cases that we are discouraging and we tend to compromise goodwill as weariness creeps in, but we should keep pressing for good.

Interestingly, the benefits should keep us on the right path. Hence, Paul is encouraging from the scripture - Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. We should remember that a harvest is promised if we faint not. Although, it looks as if there is no fruit coming from God or even people around us, but we must fix our minds on the joy set before us. Be assured that God has a timetable and He will bring it to pass as your labour is a seed of obedience that must bear fruit in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Oh Lord, strengthen me when I am weary as you remind me of the rewards and blessings that awaits me if I keep doing right in Jesus name.
