Preserved in His Presence

 

Text:  Exodus 33:14 (KJV)

My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest

Friends, the greatest place of safety is God’s presence. And it is experienced by growth as we continue to walk with the Lord daily in fellowship, study of His word, prayer etc. There is no safer place than the presence of God. So, it is when we walk with Him that we shall fear no evil. Therefore, the phase of challenge is a passage that we need to navigate life and become stronger as to build confidence in God.  Psalm 23: 1-3The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. We can see His presence in the life of Joseph, Daniel and his friends etc. And by His presence they were prosperous.  So, His presence is a shield and a force at all time.

Interestingly, we live to be reassured of God’s presence living and abiding with us all times. It is His covenant promise that He will not live us nor forsake us, therefore He will be with us even in that difficult situation. Mathew 28:20 . -- lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Remember, His presence is not the absence of danger rather His presence in the phase of challenge in which we can be sure of victory no matter the fierce battles. And today, I pray God’s presence will go ahead of us and we shall overcome all the life challenges with songs of triumph in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Heavenly father, take us to your abiding presence as we grow and become conscious of intimate relationship with You in Jesus name.
