A walk of Honesty

Text:  Proverbs 10:9(KJV)

He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.

Friends, there is a way of life we must exhibit as believers that is right with God. It is not a questionable lifestyle rather a life that pleases God. It is a life of integrity in speech and in thought as we live trustworthy in all ramification of life. We must walk away from deception as many call it smartness which has become the order of the day. But, as we walk upright we must walk sure and confident before God and man. 2 Cori 8:21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. So, let’s live differently as His dear children as to live honourable and make a difference in our world filled with gross darkness. Remember, we can be found blameless and harmless as believers because we are the light of the world.

Honestly, we can trust God as to walk in uprightness just as Job was known for righteous living in his time. Hence, when we walk with the Lord, we walk certain despite the challenges in our generation. Therefore, we should not breed anxiety nor shame as to remain in the bosom of the Lord. Eph.4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. We can see the life of Joseph who walked upright and honestly despite the pressure from Potipher’s wife, so honesty paved way for his promotion. I pray we shall model Christ as a walk of honesty which shall bring us before great men and favour in the sight of God in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Oh Lord help us not to yield to seductive life of compromise in my walk with God but I receive grace to walk in honesty at all time in Jesus name.
