Text: Ephesians 1:18(KJV)
The eyes of your
understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his
calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints
Friends, there
is an eye opening realm where possibilities are the order of the day. At this
level things happen without your efforts because God has taken over and He
shows up with evidence. Certain times, we don’t see our blessings because our eyes
are blinded to the truth and the thought the Lord has towards us. Psalm 119:18 Open thou
mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
But from the scripture above, our eyes of understanding shall be opened to see
light in the midst of darkness. And this is possible as the words illuminates
our darkness that brings about direction towards our vision. This is the key to
inner peace in the world clouded with darkness. Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth
light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Amazingly, this is profound truth that we all need for spiritual
enlargement and growth. So, God touches both our physical and spiritual eyes
just as he did to blind bartimeaus, so that our perception over life can change
that brings about transformation on every side. Today, we pray that our eyes of
understanding be opened into a victorious living. 2 Cori.4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath
shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in
the face of Jesus Christ. So, we are not just praying
for new blessings but insight to God’s plan concerning our lives. This is a
divine insight that transcend our natural mind into supernatural where
everything is possible. I pray we shall walk into possibilities in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father, may the Holy Spirit illuminate the truth of God’s word
into our hearts that will enhance our belief and confidence to the reality of
divinity in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, without inner light the word of God will be
like a story book.
