Diligence in sowing

 

                                                    

Text: 2 Corinthians 9:6(KJV)                                            

He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully

Friends, there is a moment of sowing which requires us to prepare the right soil and environment for planting as to receive the equivalent harvest. And our heart is that right ground. Remember, every day we have the opportunity to sow which can be physical, spiritual or even morally. Today, many are sowing in righteousness wherewith they reap the fruits of the spirit which includes, love, patience, kindness, joy, honour etc. But, the question today is, what are you sowing? Because there is a time of reaping that will open up to us in a short while. So, there is a call for diligence and not laziness because in due season we shall reap if we faint not. Hosea 10:9 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Unfortunately, many are careless with their seeds but by all means whether consciously or unconsciously you are still sowing into your future.  It requires faithful and cheerful living. And we shall break the fallow grounds with diligence no matter the hardness of the situation. He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.” Ecclesiastes 11:4 Therefore, it is not time to wait for favourable condition before you sow rather create the atmosphere for sowing and certainly we shall reap if we sow diligently today in Jesus name.

1. Father, help us to sow with a heart aligned with God for abundance of harvest in Jesus name.
