Text: Romans 8:35 (KJV)
Who
shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Friends, we are in seasons where we need to ask ourselves
life questions as for the way forwards because the pressures are threatening
our love. There are so many things in the world that is dividing our intimacy
with God and man today. So, don’t watch them. Yes, they are all around us but
what will be the impact of those concerns in our daily life? Unfortunately, to
some it builds confidence and to others it separates them from God. We must be purposeful and determine to conquer
this cankerworm of life pressure. So, the scripture above identifies several
issues around us today that we must deal with before, they deal with us. Romans 8:38- For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to
come. So, we should not allow these concerns to separate us from this
precious gift of God’s love. Hence, it has affected many and has limited
several not to enjoy God’s capacity of answers to all human concerns
thereafter, it has pushed many to other alternatives.
Amazingly, the major target of these storms of life is to
separate and pluck us out of God’s plan. And today, many are accepting half
measure and defeat to purpose. But, Eph.1:22 And hath put
all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the
church. So, embracing Jesus gives us authority over all as we stand on
the side of victory. Therefore, stop those heaviness before it gradually moves one
from burden and graduates into depression and finally destroys a glorious
destiny at which point an individual is detached from the vine as His branch. Therefore,
we must learn to be sensitive and work with God’s word as to avoid the
isolation moment that ends one into absolute separation from the will of God. I
pray that shall not be our story as nothing shall separate us from God’s love in
Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Oh
Lord, may your presence overwhelm us in this challenging time as to stand
unmovable with God’s promises in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE:
Remember, the enemy has a target to shift your
focus from the almighty. Resist the devil.
