Text: Psalm 46:10(KJV)
Be still and know that I am God, I
will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth
Friends, have you ever imagined the unseen battles that we
go through daily? You never knew they ever existed and we are busy in fear with
just the little concerns we see. So, can
we learn to allow God fight for us as He takes over all both seen and unseen?
The master wants to be glorified in that challenge of yours. Isaiah26:3- Thou wilt keep
him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in
thee. Hence, where is
your mind? We
need to tame it if we must enjoy quietness. Therefore,
we are expected to be calm as to encounter the mighty hand of God. Even on your
right assignment or journey to destiny, challenges still shows up. So, we need
a greater power and faith to face certain obstacles. Remember, Satan is truly
subtle but Jesus has all the powers and principalities in heaven, on earth and
beneath even in that fierce weather.
Amazingly, it is a built confidence in God that we need to
stand in the phase of uncertainty. Just like in the scripture Mathew 8:26-27(KJV) And he saith unto them, why are ye fearful, O ye of
little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a
great calm. But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even
the winds and sea obey him! Jesus was also in that boat and the storm
struck. But He was relaxed because of knowledge. Beloved, that storm is only a
passage in life that will help us to build up faith in God. Like, the disciples had battled with the
little experience they could handle but not this raging type even with the
presence of Jesus in that boat it was fearful. Hence, let us involve Jesus in that ragging and
very furious storm either in our spiritual, emotional or physical life, all we
need is to be at peace and be still because the wind will soon cease as we engage
the command with the word of peace and there shall be quietness in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father,
we decree great calmness in that issue of concern now, in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Do you know this storm will soon be over no matter the
tempest?
