Our Mistakes Are Forgiven

 

Text: 1 John.2:12(KJV)         

I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

Friends, we are referred to as his dear children because God is passionate about us even in our mistakes, God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us   The good news this morning is that all our mistakes knowingly or unknowingly have been forgiven. We should work confident to the throne of grace because our belief in Christ has bought us over as his dear children no matter magnitude of our mistakes and the accusation the devil. Psalm 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. So, let’s walk into light, by accepting and receiving the power to overcome any form of evil in our spiritual journey in life.

Interesting, it is good to know that His love is a covering that blots away the sin that so easily beset us. Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. Indeed, we are cleansed and forgiven, so cheer up. The command of love has an overwhelming effect and not a scolding effect to us. This is one major key to our joy of salvation experience. Your sin and mistakes have been forgiven on account of his name JESUS CHRIST. I encourage us to recognize that the knowledge of God as the father, son and Holy Spirit has delivered us of all our mistakes in Jesus name

1.    Oh Lord, open our eyes to understand that we have victory right from the start through our saviour Jesus name
