Text: Psalm 33:2-3(KJV)
Praise the Lord with harp; sing unto him with the psaltery and an
instrument of ten strings. Sign unto him a new song: play skillfully with a
loud noise.
Friends, there is a silent voice that speaks behind the song. Do we just listen to songs and forget the voice behind the sound? Yes, many do. But if we are sensitive, we will hear several commands behind the song. It is an instruction for direction. Unfortunately, we are busy with the lyrics and get distracted from the command of the spirit behind you. Psalm 96:1 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord all the earth. Let’s listen to hear the true pitch behind the song. It comes behind the mind of the song. Yes, it is easy to tell kids, and younger once to obey instructions but we forget God’s words are also for all to obey. So, as a loving father, His words are as pure as gold, therefore there is need to value it to action.
Amazingly, it is important to hear the voice of Christ in our
daily activities. He speaks in every situation even in songs. Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, by saying, thou art worthy
to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for thou wast slain, and hast
redeemed us to God by the blood out of every kindred, tongue, and people, and
nation. But we must be calm to
listen as to understanding his now leading. It is a way of direction to the
next experience. It comes to us by the prompting of His Spirit, if only we can
obey absolutely, we shall reap the benefits. Therefore, let’s offer true praise
as we come to him with a sincere worship at all times in Jesus name. I pray we
shall trust and obey him as we sing a new song to him in Jesus name
PRAYER POINT:
Oh Lord help
us to deepen our understanding as we listen to God’s voice with our minds and
strength by the help of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, the expression of love to our neighbor can come from
an instruction from the voice in a song too.
