The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth;
the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the
trees of the field, are withered: because Joy is withered away from the sons of
men.
Friends, we are in a crucial season of dry Joy that is
influencing the world no matter your location. But, Jesus is the real source of
Joy and outside Him is crises. Unfortunately, many people are in tears and pains
in their secret corners but God sees all and wants to wipe away our tears and
give us JOY. Dear, we have a privilege in Him as to activate the spirit of Joy.
Joy is one of the fruits we bear as we walk and are led by His spirit. The truth is that when your Joy is attacked,
every other thing begins to dry up, but that is not the same with those who
find Joy in God; it is the complete opposite. Joy is a divine virtue, and we
must learn to create an environment where we can express our Joy in either
singing, dancing, praying in known or unknown tongues, or the word. Psalms 30:5b- Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes
in the morning.
Amazingly, it is not based on the happenings but on whom we
carry and represent. It is contagious; even more contagious than any of the
world famous diseases. Indeed, it can flow to those who are around us also. I
tell you, it is an in-flow of the presence of His Spirit. This kind of Joy is
not motivated by mare words, but it is activated by His presence, and it can
cure and give strength to any situation of life. Nehemiah
8:10b- For this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the Joy of
the Lord is your strength. We can only have access to this strength if
we are connected to the source of Joy, which is Jesus. So, let’s learn to tap
from that great source of Joy today. All we need is to desire it and God shall
make it available to overflow in Jesus name
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father,
please show me the path of Joy which is the pathway to unspeakable joy towards abundant
life in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, ceaseless Joy
can flow despite the current happenings.
