Be firm in God’s Liberty

 

Text: Galatians 5:1(KJV)

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Friends, there is a position you can stand that can grant you access to “free indeed” lifestyle. In a time like this, we must remember freedom is what we have, and that is because Christ has made us free. So, let’s stand on it as to enjoy the total liberty package. The freedom we are discussing today includes freedom from the bondage of sin. Christ has fought for us and has won the victory, so we are meant to live in this free life. This is our inheritance therefore stand firm in that liberty despite the world challenges. 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NLT) - But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amazingly, the challenges that we face in our world of today are there to threaten our faith, but the question before us is when threatened, where do you stand? Beloved, we should not be unstable but be strong in your liberty.  Do you submit to those circumstances around you, or do you dwell on the Word of God and use it to strengthen your faith? Joshua.1:8a-This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. The Word of God is our weapon, so meditate and ponder on it, as it is filled with the truth and nothing but the truth. So, we should stand on it as to follow the right path at all times in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.Oh Lord, please help us to stand firm against the new strategy of the devil, in Jesus name.
