Created for His Pleasure

 

Text: Revelation 4:11 (KJV)

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created.

The truth about life is that God created every one of us with a purpose, but many at times, we fail to understand that, and this leads us not knowing how to honour God. We end up thinking it is difficult or hard, that God will not accept it, which is a lie from the devil. Certain times, we ask ourselves, how do we honour God that we cannot see Him? It is not meant to be so.

Interestingly, we are meant to honour God with all that we have, from our bodies, to our dressing, our thoughts, our speeches, etc.; this is because He deserves it. The creator of heaven and earth deserves all of our worship. It says in Colossians1:16- For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. He truly deserves it, because He is so great and lives forever and ever; He also knows the beginning from the end and vice versa, because He is the beginning and the end, so give Him the honour that He deserves because we are created for that reason in all and for all in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, help me to remember that we are created for His pleasure so, whatever has replaced my reverence completely to God, be reversed it, in Jesus name.
