Show of Kind-heartedness

Text: 2Samuel 9:3 (KJV)

And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

Friends, the good of yesterday can be remembered to turn your life around for good. Yes, being grateful to people is one virtue that is fading away in this generation. But the truth is that although being unthankful is part of the end-time syndrome, but many are stilling showing kindness.  We have an example in the Bible, David, he asked, is there not yet anyone left in Saul's family line that he could show the kindness of God to for his friend’s (Jonathan) sake? Now, the lame son of Jonathan who was in Lo-debar was fetched by Ziba even when his location was a place of “NO PASTURE, NO WORD, or NO COMMUNICATION”. It was a desolate and forgotten place, just like Nathanael’s saying in John1:46- And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Despite all the limitations, circumstances, and conditions of the disabled prince, it became a turning point for his miracle.

Interestingly, you don’t write off yourself.  Ziba was used a vessel to fetch for the lame son, Mephibosheth in that deserted place. Your location may be in a remote place, but you will be located by the King in Jesus name at your set time. This became a turning point in his life, and we can see furthermore in the scriptures that King David returned all the properties which belonged to him as the grandson of Saul; he even began to eat at the King’s table continually. We should leave our comfort zone and ask ourselves, “HOW CAN I HELP?” This action made is also creating an unending platform for generational blessings. Jonathan act of showing affection to David was enjoyed by Mephibosheth several years later. You may not know who will appreciate your good deeds or when. Let’s keep showing kindness, despite their age, gender, race, title, or class. Gratification is a seed everyone enjoys. it is a positive lifestyle that we should develop in this present world of unthankful attitudes, making a difference today, and do not forget the past helps.

PRAYER POINT:

1) Father, may the good seeds of our fathers begin to pay for us and may we also transfer those kindness to our generation, in Jesus name.

Action Quote: Remember, your connecting helpers can locate you speedily at your set time for recovery and discovery.
