Text: John 14:27 (KJV)
Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not
your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
It
is evident to us that there is a scarcity of genuine peace in our world of
today; because we are worried or anxious about the future. This attitude of
worrying can happen occasionally, but it is not suppose to take hold of us. It
says in Matthew
6:34 (NIV) - Therefore do not worry about
tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of
its own. We,
as children of God, have been given a great privilege, and that is the GIFT OF
PEACE. Jesus wanted everyone to have perfect peace, because the God that we
serve is a God of peace. Romans 15:33- Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
Amazingly,
we have failed to enjoy this gift because we let our troubled mind take hold of
us. The word of God is full of the gospel of peace, and we are meant to utilize
it. The truth is, the more we keep hearing and declaring the word of God, the
more peace comes to our distressed mind. So, embrace this gift or inheritance
today as I allow the God of peace to settle you with unspeakable peace and see
your life turnaround in Jesus name.

Lord, may I experience and embrace the peace that passeth all human
understanding, in Jesus name.
