All Round Cleansing

Text: Luke 5:12 (KJV)

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

 

In our world of today, a lot of things have happened. Some might have brought shame, some irritation, some rejection, some isolation, some a negative tag and some a “BUT” in our life. But, the leprous case in our text; shows the truth that any shame or rejection or whatever negative thing can only go or end if you allow it to go. Medically, leprosy is a contiguous disease that usually affects the skin; it causes discoloration and deformities. Although it is contiguous and it has all those symptoms, it can still be treated. The same goes for us as believers. No matter the level of shame or rejection or “BUTs” you may have received in life, there is a cure, and that is JESUS.

                                                                  

Friends. why wait for a long time or until you get to the level of a leprous case before you ask the healer for help. The amazing part is that this cure is always available, and He is right beside you, but you just have to accept the condition you are in (be humble), and by doing this, the cure will work. It says in Proverbs 22:4- By humility and fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life. The man in our text was humble, he fell on his face and asked the cure for help, and in the end, he was cleansed of his disease, so why don’t you do the same and see your testimony come your way?  So, do not give up, because the cure which we have by our side is more than able to cleanse that situation in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.      Father, please deal with any leprous case that has brought isolation and rejection in our lives in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, your isolation case can also turn around to announce you.
