Becoming a Great Nation.

 

Text: Genesis 12:1-2 (KJV)

1Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of the country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee. 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.

We know that life is full of surprises and we have the opportunity of seeing and encountering these surprises on a daily basis even in this year. Interestingly, we need to be careful because God has assured us that He will make out of us a great nation. The mistake people make most often is that they do not discover opportunities or platforms created for us in a new season. Many at times, we need to leave a particular level to attain the next one. Being comfortable in one opportunity limits you from seeing the other ones available before you. In our scripture of today, we see that Abram had to decide on whether to go with God or to remain in the place that seemed comfortable to him. I encourage us to go with God all the way.  Genesis 15:7- And he said unto him, I am the Lord that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give thee this Land to inherit it. I tell you, we need to see with our inner eyes, so as to see the real place God has allocated our inheritance of greatness. We need to look inward to see those great opportunities set before us in 2022. 

Friends, to see these opportunities, we need to take a new step with God, and when we walk with Him, He instructs us on what to do. Acts 7:3- And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee. Let us be alert because there is a showing with God as He told Abram to leave his country to go to the place that He will show him and not the place He has shown him. There is always a new ground to cultivate in any new year. That means Abram had no idea where he was going, but we see that he obeyed immediately. For us to also see those opportunities, we need to be obedient to His instructions and pen them down. The truth is, when you get to the right place God has allocated for you, you end up becoming a blessing and a positive influence in that field.  So that means we should never imagine that the place we are now is the BEST POINT, there is a GREATER PLACE AHEAD no matter your present height. It is high time we leave our comfort zone. I urge you to look out for those opportunities because there are new testimonies, provisions, protection and new ideas coming your way, so open your heart to receive for them in Jesus name.

1. Lord, please take me to a level of discovery by your leading in 2022 in Jesus name.

2. Father, please help us to obey you as you have directed us to do in Jesus name
