More than Conqueror in Christ

 

Text: Romans 8:37 (KJV)

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! We have gotten to the last days of the year 2021!!!!! Congratulations again.

The beautiful thing about life is, there is an overwhelming victory ahead, so no matter what you may be facing or going through, victory is yours. As believers, we must remember that life is too beautiful for us to adopt that attitude of “I will give up”. You made it by Christ, so more giving up. It is too late.  Many at times, we make this mistake of negative statement and this has resulted in us not experiencing the victory meant for us. The truth is, we are more than conquerors, we just have to believe it and that is because we have the great conqueror and champion on our side by reason of these years and seasons as His seed is in us, which is Jesus and I tell you, He loves us so much. Our text of today tells us that we are more than conquerors, which means we are not just conquerors but we are more and greater than that, that is why we are standing today. We need to live with this mindset because God has already given us victory for life. 1 Corinthians 15:57- But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. So, do not be worried or afraid of that battle you are facing because you cannot lose it, but instead rejoice because you have conquered all by the birth of Jesus.

1 Samuel 17:45- Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defiled. When David stood before Goliath, he had nothing with him except a slingshot and God, and that shows he had his assurance in God and resulted in him winning the battle. Humanly speaking, how can someone go to a battle with only a slingshot, but David was so sure that God was with him and that confidence brought him to victory. Friends,  there is a big God with you. We can also declare now that God is with us in 2021 and He gave us victory in all the battles.  My brothers and sisters, I urge you to have a mindset change even in that current situation you are facing because 1 John 4:4- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. So think positively and always remind yourself that you are a conqueror as God has given you a new name in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS: 

1. Father, may we be triumphant and manifest Christ by the knowledge of our victory position in His birth, in Jesus name.

2. Oh Lord, please help us to be careful about how we talk during difficult situations, in Jesus name.
