Corinthians 3:5 (KJV)
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think
anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
Have you ever thought about the capacity of God? He is
all-sufficient and meets our needs according to the abundance of His riches; His
capacity is big enough to fill us to the point of an overflow. He is the
Almighty and can supply in excess all the needs of man at the same time; He is
more than enough. Our varieties of expectations are all available in excess,
and He never runs dry or low from the storehouse because he is the creator of
the universe and even to the generation unborn (to the point that all their
resources needed are already available in excess). What a great God!! We have all that it takes for life, we just need
to stretch forth our hands to receive it. Romans 11:33-
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How
unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! On our
own, we can honestly do nothing, so all we have to do is to lean on his
abundant provision to live a stress-free life. We must entirely depend on
Jesus. Without Him, we have nothing, but
with Him, we have everything. Just go to Him with that assurance that He is
the supplier of all needs, even the power to overcome sin. He is our strength
and our deliverer; we are complete in Him, and everything comes, happens, and
ends with Him.
Jeremiah 10:23- O Lord, I know that the way of man
is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. We are struggling today to live a
Christian life because we depend on ourselves, but our sufficiency should be
from the Lord. Every other thing will be added to those who seek Him, so we
should not deceive ourselves. God is the one working and not us. We are in a
world filled with a diversity of challenges, but the privilege we have is in
Christ, because he has done it all and has made the vital resources of living
available to us. Abiding in the vine is our guarantee for living. The life of
Christ is imputed in us; He is indeed our sufficiency for living. The strategy
of following Christ is going where He goes and departing where He has departed.
2Corinthians 9:8- And God is able to make all grace
abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may
have an abundance for every good work. God’s provision also includes
grace, which overflows towards all dimensions of life. His sufficiency is
always ready; He can pour a blessing on you that will overflow to the extent
that you will not have enough room to store it. So, be assured, that His
capacity is large enough for everyone, in every tribe and every nation.
PRAYER POINTS:
1) Lord, may we know You again as to rely on His provided
platform of sufficiency, in Jesus name
2) Oh Lord, please guide us through the pathway of this
universal provision, as to enjoy our life with Christ, in Jesus name.
Action Quote:
Do you know you can choose God’s sufficient way and
not man’s hard way today?
