Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou
hear thy servant curse thee.
There is a need for us to have our
minds fixed on important things, and that is why we should not pay attention or
to take to heart all the things that we hear people say. We live in a world
where so many informations are passed constantly, but we need to be careful in
what we accept into our hearts as to avoid depression. I tell you, listening to
informations about the current happenings around you is very important, but we
need to be able to extract the unhealthy ones from the healthy ones, and this
is where we need to ask God for help. John 8:47 (ESV) -
Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is
that you are not of God. When you ask God for help, you end up being
resistant to the unnecessary informations, and that in turn will result in you
feeding yourself with information that will take you higher in life and will
bring you joy and happiness. Job 36:11- If they hear
and serve Him, they will end their days in prosperity, and their years in
pleasures.
Interestingly, not only is learning
to filter information important, but also how you react to those informations
also matter. I tell you, your reaction
to particular information plays a vital role in your future. We need to be
careful and also learn to take heed to God’s words because it teaches you all
you need to know about life, and this will result in you having a great
tomorrow. It is never too late to mold your reactions and responses to those
issues around you as to avoid wrong harvest in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1.Father, please help me to mature so
as to overlook wrong words about others in Jesus name.
2. Oh Lord, may we hear and follow
what the Lord will command concerning our lives and not what the environment is
speaking in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, past negative words can still be hurting, only be careful.
