Your testimony is an Evangelism tool

 

Text: Revelation 12:11(KJV)

And they overcome him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

For us as believers to sustain the kingdom lifestyle of sharing our testimony because it is an overcoming tool, we need fresh experiences. Many at times, people find it challenging to share their testimony because of various reasons like they do not want people to start being envious of them or they are shy, or that the testimony is not complete, etc., but we need to understand that, the attitude or lifestyle of always sharing your testimony is actually a weapon in disguise. Sharing of testimony is a weapon used to put the devil to shame, and you can either do it publicly or in private (like in the corner of your room by pouring your heart). The most important thing is that you are glorifying God for all that He has done in your life. One thing people tend to forget is that testimonies are also an evangelism tool. In John4:39 (NIV) - Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” You might not have given the testimony in public, but people can see your life and decide to believe in God because your lifestyle is an evangelism tool.

Testimonies also have a hidden secret as it has been a turning point for many.  The spirit of prophecy is activated from sharing your testimonies as it duplicates in other lives. Revelation 19:10- And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophesy. If you have ever noticed whenever you hear or receive a testimony, there is always another testimony that is fired up to spring out (it basically inspires and activates your faith for another testimony to come faster, it may be yours or someone’s own beside you). So I urge you never to hide your testimony, say them out today and see God perfect everything and everyone around you. Never forget you are given a testimony as an evangelism tool, so do not brag over it but humble yourself to give glory to God.

1.Oh Lord, please may I not forget your faithfulness in the time past, so as to conquer and confront the issues ahead in Jesus name.

2.Father, please give me a testimony that will unlock someone's testimony, in Jesus name.
