The Overflow Encounters

Text: Malachi 3:10 (KJV)

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

One beautiful thing about God is that once He pours His blessings on a man, it is always a lot even to the point that there will be no room enough to receive it, like literally, it overflows. Psalms 23:5b (NLT) - My cup overflows with blessings. I tell you, the flow does not end with you, but it also spreads to everyone and things around you. Isn’t that amazing?  Many at times, we celebrate so much on a particular blessing without us realizing that God has taken us to a higher level. Due to the fact that God is the source of our blessings, and He is the activator and the sustainer of the flow, He knows the extent and height to supply, and this makes us get more than we expected. God is so faithful to us, but we need to honour Him with our substance as His flow does not cease. Proverbs 3:9- Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.

Most times, people think substance means only money, but we can also offer substances like praises, worship, dances, services, talents, skills etc. No level of substance is too small for Him, it is the heart behind that substance that increase the value of the substance. 2 Corinthians 9:7b- For God loveth a cheerful giver. The truth is, you giving or honouring God cheerfully brings a lot of blessings to the point that the windows of Heaven opens for us. Genesis 7:11b- The same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. So this means once the flow starts, there is no limitation to it because the source never runs dry. This level of flow changes your status to being a carrier of blessings and you end up distributing it to others. I tell you, it is our season to shine and in so doing, we will bring glory to God. I urge you to desire a new realm of overflow by His spirit of service and I pray God will help us, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, may my blessings continue to flow progressively as my source never run dry according to His declarations, in Jesus name.

2.Father, may my attitude don’t hinder the flow from above in this season of His outpouring in Jesus name.
